Pumpkin bisque


FRITEL Combi Mixer


1,4 kg pumpkin (smallbright orange pumpkins, not the regular ones)
1 kg of tomatoes (onlythe flesh)
2 tsp of mild paprikapowder
1 tsp of spicy paprikapowder
8large onions
Lobster broth (ourpreference goes to the one of Piet Huysentruyt, feel free to put a wholepot in it)
Pepperand salt


Fry the onions untilthey are glazy.
Add the pumpkin andthe paprika powder and let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until the pumpkinstarts to soften.
Add the tomatoes and aportion of the stock. Add water, so that everything is covered and then 2to 3 centimeters above it.
You can still add extra water afterwards, justas you can add lobster broth, salt and pepper at the end until the souptastes exactly the way you want!
Then take your FRITELCombi Mixer and mix the soup finely


If the bisque is a littletoo spicy, you can add some cream
Put a lobster tail orshrimp in it for a festive result
