Chili con carne in a raclette pan

FRITEL Raclette Grill RG 4180 or Stone Grill SG2180
FRITEL Warming Tray WT 2478 or Cordless Warming Tray WT 3498


600 g minced beef (or mixed minced meat)
400 g red beans (tin)
800 g tomato cubes (tin)
Bag of Chile con carne or Mexican spices 
2 onions
1 red pepper
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp strong paprika
1 pinch of chili powder
Imposed green chillies
Grated cheddar
1 jar of sour cream


Prepare the chili con carne in advance according to the following instructions
Chop the onions and garlic. Dice the paprika.
Fry the onions and garlic in olive oil. Add the Chili Con carne or Mexican spices and fry for a few minutes to release the flavours. 
Add the minced meat and stir well, so that the spices are well distributed.
Fry the minced meat loose. Then add the paprika cubes and after a few minutes the tomato cubes.
Let it simmer gently for 20 minutes.
Drain the beans, rinse them and add them to the sauce. Leave to warm over a low heat for another 10 minutes. 
Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Keep your chili con carne warm on the Fritel hot plate, so you can enjoy a long and cosy dinner. 
Put some chili con carne in a raclette pan and sprinkle with grated cheddar! 
Leave to gratinate under the grill!
Decorate with some sour cream and green chillies!

Extra spicy? Add some chili flakes or extra chili powder.
