FRITEL Hand Blender HB 2870 or HB 2879

Ingredients

Lump of butter
2-3 shallots, finely chopped
400 g shelled fresh peas (approx. 1.5 kg unshelled)
5 dl water
3-4 tbsp cream
Salt and pepper
Croutons

Preparation

Preparation time: 10 min.

When using the Soup Maker:

Put all ingredients in the Soup Maker and select the pre-programmed function Smooth ( smooth mixed soup).
The Soup Maker will now prepare your fresh pea soup.
Season the soup further with salt and pepper and serve with croutons.

Without Soup Maker:

Melt the butter in a pan, add the shallots and fry for 3 min.
Add the peas and water, season with salt and pepper. Cover the pan and let the peas cook gently for about 12 min, stirring occasionally.
When the peas are soft, puree them with the FRITEL hand blender.
Pour the soup through a sieve into the pan, stir in the cream and heat the soup without letting it boil.
Season the soup further and serve with croutons.

Tips

Don`t have a Soup Maker (yet) and still want a super smooth creamy soup ? Then just put it all in the Blender BL 3890. Enjoy!
